Ive just got hold of an old camera I found in our house (a Zenit TTL) and id really like to get to grips with using it. Im a complete novice, so does anyone have a good guide for a newbie starting out in terms of all these things like exposure, f number etc?
You missed out the other important dial...See this and note 17 FILM SPEED selector dial.
There are many reasons why you would pick a slower or faster film...google ISO film and you will find lots of sites that may help...and many opinions)The big difference between digital and film is you can't change the ISO on a film camera as such (not getting into force developing)
Nice to see people still using film cameras....FYI there are a lot of good universities that teach photography and still consider more can be learnt from film...so they still teach students "wet" photography.

Lets add some fuel to the fire....you are using a campag spindle (ISO square taper AFAIK) and on that you have a Shimano chainwheel that is Square Taper (JIS).

The only place I know that sells them (here) won't have them in stock for a couple of weeks :(Of course...if anyone know's another stockist?
This is for a Miche hub and I don't like their lockrings and campag are too pricey (prolly)

Hmm that frame CrMo..there is however there are aluminium frames on that site that look very similar to the VISP.
