    Sir,

You seem like a decent enough chap and I'm sure your club and your rides are fun, friendly and enjoyable events.

However, deliberately cutting up pedestrians is a really fucking shitty and nasty thing to do, and then filming it and putting it on the internet and expecting praise for it is fucking out of order.

I'm sure you would think that someone in a car deliberately cutting up a group of cyclists is a right cunt, and I bet you would think if they filmed and put it on the internet celebrating this and as part of advertising their club, you would think that they were not just a right cunt, but a serious, staggering Tyrannacuntus Cunt, and that anyone part of their club was quite probably a massive shitparty themselves.

    Do you see?

We post here because it is an open community. People can hate it, praise it, not care at all. We are not after anything in particular. You've got 40000 members and everyone has a different view. The amount of different threads from advocating safety, going out for drinks, wearing jeans or lycra, weather to jump red lights or not to looking up to guys from Mash SF and other crews. And comparing someone who deliberately knocks someone off to riding around someone is rather extreme.

What do you do on an ELF ride?

I always though these fixie-gangs were a bit sad but are they like normal club-runs (though assuming half the distance & done in jeans)?

Joking aside what do these groups actually do?

On a positive note; I did like the music in the first one.

We do rides every tuesday (except one). One of them is pretty much just a social where people can meet new people have a chat and ride to some nice places at a slow pace. Very similar to LFGSS's St.Paul's ride. The other two Tuesday's we do Regent's laps. Again different people do it a different pace but everyone tries to push themselves and go a little faster each time. Whether you do it in jeans or not, up to you (sorry no pubs on this one either). An of course we had guys doing Dunwich Dynamo, Box Hill basically just trying to enjoy other events as well. Basically ride and enjoy.

    Most people post rides here...

    http://www.lfgss.com/forum5.html

If the rides rules are that you all jump lights and ride like dicks then post that so I don't waste my time going to then somehow become the responsible adult for you.

Thanks for the note. We will post where it's appropriate for the ride.
As for the socials - safety is always our priority as some riders can be quite new to riding fixed or single speed and also a big group can be tricky. We do stop at lights otherwise it wouldn't be fun and quite risky. We always welcome everyone and they make up their mind about coming back afterwords. But thanks for the adult offer.

If you did the job properly the first time he wouldn't need to keep coming back...... ;-)

If he stopped jumping curbs we wouldn't have to keep fixing it. :P jack@Eastlondonfixed

Tell him he brought much amusement to me and my colleagues during our lunch break

Its my pleasure dude, I was out on my training ride yesterday and was on my way back. I was having none of it and decided to give him some advice as I ran the red light that morning and earned myself a lovely £50 fine. I thought it only fair just so he didnt end up with one ;) Jack@Eastlondonfixed
