Webof - I'm not a buyer but could you put the frame number up please? I have a very tatty Grubb that I've failed to date, all I know is the head badge puts it pre-1963. Your frame looks good with the original paint, unfortunately I got the Nitromors and a rattle can out when I got mine. Good luck with the sale.

I've just bought some Fulcrum Racing 3s in preference to Ksyriums on the entirely shallow and subjective basis that they look better - they're black, white & red so will fit in with what you've already got.
You have chosen the seatpost and stem that I have lined up for my next spend - are they as nice as they look? -

Just seen this thread.I have Crud Catcher Road Racer MKIIs on my Freddie Grubb road bike which I run as a fixed gear with 700C wheels. They work perfectly and are simple to set up. They're easy to remove and refit and they've kept my arse dry through the winter. The frame's designed for 27" wheels so I guess that helps with clearance. Had no mechanical failures after ~5 months. Bike looks better without them but that's true of most mudguards.
