Posted this the other day before I'd got the frame, had a chance to have a good look at it but i'm I still have no clue what frame it is. All I know is it used to have a full campag group on it and has the most awful paint job known to man.

S/N on BB is: 5971 (i think). Dropout are columbus and there were faded remains of a columbus sticker on the fork, so presumably it is all columbus steel.

There was a decal on the downtube for the 'Canadian Cycling Association' and a maple leaf sticker on the headtube so presumably it was in Canada at some point in its life.

Original colour was a midnight blue, looking at the steerer tube.

The frame came with possibly original cinelli giro d'italia bars, weird cutout SR stem, universal 'super 68' calipers and campag levers.

Would love to know what it is so I can restore it to a decent degree!

The intense regret I first felt has been lifted since I've devd some stuff and scanned it, albeit only with quid shop c41 stuff. Got some hp5 i'm pushing to 800 in it at the minute, see how the meter copes with that. Not anywhere near as versatile as the M6 but I was basically trying to find a camera to do everything I want in one package, come to realise that doesn't exist. Although the mamiya 7 comes pretty damn close! Will post some shots up on here when I'm done.

newbie on this here site, nice to see there's a community of film users! Just got rid of an M6 to go full time with an XA2, think I might be mental but the XA2 is less of a pain in arse to use and I'm not terrified I'll get it nicked/drop it/go arse over tit on bike and smash it to bits in my bag every time I go out.

First post and all that jazz... bought a mystery frame off ebay, I was drawn in by the campag bits and stem/bar combo look to be alright too. Frame has columbus dropouts but its been dreadfully painted, figure it might be worth a go at restoring and giving it a powder coat as it is my size.

There a some high res shots at bottom of the auction, yet to receive it so not sure on bb or s/n yet but if anyone has an idea i'd appreciate input.
