Regal: Straps are on their way actually just waiting on them to turn up then ill fit my DMR V8's with them.. and the cranks, what, do they break? tbh, i've skidded a few times but its not a regualr thing.

Hugo7: ah cheers mate not to worry though, i have a full chain of half links on my bmx so im all good in that aspect.

ill take a photo tonight to show where its sitting in the dropout, perhaps someone will lemme know its ok where it is? but its defo around the middle section though.

C.B. cheers for the offer but for the while these are working ill keep em.

mad? yeaaaa boy!!!! erm i will get a brake just when i can afford it!, people seem to think its a massive deal of which i suppose it can be, just depandant on where you live and ride, like i ride in the country and can see obsticles from a long way off. I've been riding bmx and jump bikes brakeless for years, and you cant slow down using resistance. admittedly though for a daily commuter or for more riding in general brakes are a sensible idea of course!

yea its brakeless for the mo till the new year, but i live way out in the country, so immediate stops arent reaally neccesary in the country lanes, i will put a brake on it when i can though...

yea yea its rideable!! mind you i've only done about 20-30 miles on it..

C.B. yea fraid it is a tad but untill i can afford a new seat post itll have to stay like that, as i say it is a project, after all this is the project thread! the whole bike is put together using bits bobs from friends etc so i cant really be too choosey!
