Errol, If it's in good shape and doesn't really need anything done, that's even better. I'd pretty much assumed anything vintage would need tinkering! I'm about 5'7 so I guess that's about average??? I'm currently riding a three-speed, which is just perfect--on a single-speed I'd be walking more than riding (we have a few hills here). I'd love to purchase it. Let me email a few friends in London and see if anyone might be available next week to drop by. They are furniture dealers--if it looks suitable for me they could handle the purchasing, packing etc. I am selling a vintage violin this week, so it couldn't be better timing!

"gear lever"...does it have gears? what might be the frame size?
I would love to have one of these to restore--unfortunately I live in the States, and there are none available here. Is there any way I could have a London friend look at this for me if it is still available? I'm intrigued!

I've talked with my London folks and getting them to look at the bike would be no problem, but getting it from there to here might run me a bit more than I can do at the moment. Your price is great though for someone local--if I were still in London, I would be on it in a heartbeat! Best of luck! Emily
