Hoping there's a few Moser experts around that could help..
I've finally found a Moser Leader in my size (well just need to confirm top tupe length). The only thing I'm confused about is the frame material. Were all 'Leader' frames steel? This one has the Atlanta 96 Olympics badge on the seat tube. Could it be aluminium? The seller doesn't really know much about it and it's obviously not been ridden in some time.
I'm only after a steel fillet brazed Moser, as light as possible.
My understanding is the Oria and Deadcciai Zero Uno are the better and lighter steel tube sets. Can anyone clarify? Thanks
(ignore the fugly yellow and the goofy set up, I'd strip it to back to bare chrome like this one https://picasaweb.google.com/100823963901259062523/MoserLeaderAtlanta )

Frames in all sizes, colours, makes. Send me details of what your after size-wise and I'll see what I've got.
All older frames, 531, Columbus, Glued and screwed. 1 carbon Look.
This post is looking a bit old now, but wondering if you have or can get a Moser AX or TK1?
Must be fillet brazed, lightweight Oria or dedacciai steel tubing.
Size ideally 52 ST, 53 TT (both measured centre to centre), but will consider any other sizes close.Must be structually ok, paint condition not bothered.
Thanks
Hi,
Just started a thread for this, but it seems here might be a better place for it.
I'm trying to find out what steel (or other metal) the below Moser Leader frames are made of.
Both have the Atlanta 96 Olympics badge (not sticker) on the seat tube, but nothing describing what they're made of.
I'm looking to buy one but only want one in fillet brazed steel.
Were all Moser "Leader" frames steel?? Oria, Deadcciai..?
Thanks
