Er, the bike, not the dude.
This luscious, heavy Danish bike was stolen by someone climbing into our garden (over a 7 foot wall, with onlookers) and chucking it over, and then pushing it away. (Still with onlookers. Who did nothing.)
Although it happened nearly 3 months ago, I'm hoping someone might see it around. And I know it's not a fast and sexy fixie or racey-type bike (see my extensive knowledge?) but you guys are out there on the streets all the time and maybe, just maybe, someone might see it. It's green, huge (a 59cm frame with big fat brown balloon tyres) and I've never seen it's twin in London yet. I still have hope that my husband will be reunited with his baby. As I mentioned in a previous post, the poor guy is shamed- riding around on a turquoise folding shopper- complete with puffy, white, old-lady-sized saddle.
It was stolen from Kentish Town in early September. The bastards who watched it happening and did nothing were of no help with the police, and the police, well, I'm sure they're far too busy in Kentish Town to give a crap.
So please, this is my second appeal. If you see a big ole' green monster anywhere in Londontown, please please let us know. I'll repay your good deed with cake, awesome sheperds pie (I make a mean one) or some bad ass lasagne.
Thanks! My email is jelly_goose at hotmail dot com, and of course, all replies here are appreciated.

Sorry, not really a fixed-gear bike, but I thought I should post here after having my hub's bike stolen from our back garden while SIX OF OUR NEIGHBOURS JUST WATCHED A MAN THROWING A HEAVY ASS DUTCH BIKE OVER A GARDEN WALL and didn't think to come and tell us/stop him.
...
It's a green Velorbis Student Balloon, it was my one-year anniversary present to my husband, and some f**cker jumped into our garden, uncovered it, untangled and unlocked it from 2 other bikes, hoisted it over a high wall, and threw it down the other side and pushed it away. Again, while people looked on and did NOTHING. It looks just like the photo above, and was taken from Kentish Town about a month ago. I've been searching Brick Lane market and bikeshed but no luck yet. It's a pretty distinctive bike, and I hope someone might see it somewhere.
My husband has been reduced to riding my folding neon-turquoise 70's shopper bike with a white seat now...the poor thing.
And thanks for keeping an eye out, too!
