Hi All,
So the time has come when I need to sell my C40 that I had bought from this very forum barely a year ago from Retrodicorsa for which you can see the original sale thread here .I'm going to regret this a lot but I've got to sell it to save up some dough for a mortgage.
Not a lot has changed since I bought it off Retro so please read on for the good and not so good points.
For an excellent note on sizing (and Colnago's odd sizing method) I'd implore you to take a look at the original sale thread via the link above. Retro has written an excellent and concise guide to the sizing of these frames and I hope he doesn't mind me linking back to his thread.
In a nutshell I'm around 5'11 and this bike fits me like a glove. The actual sizing equates to 54cm seatpost and 54.6cm top tube c2c although this is a Colnago size 56cm frame.
Groupset is Campag Athena 11 with Ultrashift Ergo levers which was all in excellent condition until I had a crash a couple of months ago. Please see 'bad points' section for more info (pictures also detail damage).
Cranks are 172.5mm carbon compact 50/34 PowerTorque.
Cassette 12-27 Chorus and Chorus chain.
Bars are Deda 215, stem Deda Newton, headset Chris King 1"
Seatpost Colnago's own carbon 28mm (made by Selcof), saddle San Marco Aspide.
Bottle cages ITM carbon.Bad Stuff
As mentioned before I crashed this bike a couple of months ago and actually got off pretty lightly considering. The crash was me leaning to far into a roundabout and was basically the bike slipping from underneath me on the driveside. Most of the impact was into my right arm and thigh.
Anyway the worst damage was done to the rear dérailleur and hanger; the former was scratched and latter bent. I took the bike to my LBS and they straightened the hanger for me which and both are in perfect working order, so it's just the cosmetic issue you'll have to consider (please see appropriate photo). Please note that the frame was not damaged.
Also another note on the C40s is that they don't have replaceable hangers so bend it again at your peril.
I also scratched the right ergoshifter too but again it shifts fine so the damage is just superficial plus the saddle had a bit of a scuff - again these are all hopefully illustrated in the pictures. So hopefully I've covered most things. I'm based in Norwich but can hand deliver to London (up on the train). I will ship via courier to all parts of the UK and most of the world, just let me get a quote first.
I'm asking for £900 (includes donation) for the complete bike. I'm not really open to splitting as I've not got the space to start disassembling it. I am also open to sensible offers so please PM me.
A final note before I shut up: If you are genuinely interested or require further info, please PM me rather than reply to the thread, as I wouldn't like to miss a genuine question.
Please click here for some pics and let me know if you require me to take any more

I HAVE a Camelbak 1.5L Hydropak what I want to get rid of. Literally used it once and barely then as I only used it as a second supply after my bottle ran out. I have thoroughly cleaned it out with a good dose of hot water and Milton. Selling because I didn't like the way it fitted.
Offering it for £15 although open to offers. Can meet in Norwich (evenings or weekends).Shitty camera pic here

^^^^^ I went today although I did bits of it by train. Didn't see your note I'm afraid. I hadn;t posted up as I wasn't sure if i was going to be able to do it.
Cambridge was mad for it. You couldn't move on the street they started on. The organisation of the everything is huge. I came in at the same time as the tour buses (Garmin, Sky, BMC) and they had shut most of the centre dwon to get everything in. A very slick organisation. I'll post up a few pics later.
No worries. Don't think I would've made it anyway as I had no sleep the night before. Glad Cambridge was up for it though - get those pictures up asap.
