I've been having shin pains for the last ca. 2 months or so. I've had shin splints from running (once!) earlier in the year and this feels a little different and is lasting longer. I am also doing yoga and home workout (planks, pushups, squats - this kind of thing). My doctor said it doesn't seem to be anything more than overdoing it, so I have calmed down on all fronts, except every Wednesday I do cargo bike deliveries (80 to 90km). I try to ice my legs after cycling, take painkillers and generally take it a bit easy on the bike. Any ideas what's behind this/what I can do? (probably rest and stop cycling for a couple of weeks..). Could it be crank arm length or something?
any advice appreciated. -
