• Wanted: Mavic Module e rim/wheel. Maillard hubs

  Hello peoples..
  I have two sets of Maillard hubs, one on Mavic GP 4s and the other on Weinmanns.. the rear Wmann rim is beyond it I fear, but everything else is good to go, so please let me know. I'd happily consider a swap with a working set of non-tub wheels.

  Heyna!)...
  I have TWO sets of Maillards, one on GP 4s, and the other on Weinmanns.. the rear Weinmann's overbuckled unfortunately, and the eyelets on the mavics aint pretty, but all the hubs are good to go.

  I'd sooner keep the Weinman front, cos all I really want is a set of non tub rims.. but I'm happy to keep them all as pairs.

• Stripping paint and refinishing/repainting/powdercoating a bike

  On this subject... Does anyone know if it's possible to do the paintjob yourself and then just get a clear laquer coat done? The sort of paint job I have in mind would cost me more than sixty quid I fear..!
