Ditto. Nice one! So, 'Ladies' in forum and rides is purely symbolic?

nah, they'd only be pervs if they wanted to follow us to the loo too. Do they?

OK. I'm really curious so I'm going to ask. I've been riding in mixed groups, mostly with men actually, and enjoy it very much. I've never tried a ladies only ride and would like to do one at some point so I'm a bit puzzled as to why men feel the need to join a 'ladies' ride when all the others (not just here) are already dominated by them. What is the attraction for the guys exactly? Just wondering.

You'll have to admit that this is an imaginative interpretation of 'ladies' though. Why not change the name since no one going minds. btw, I noticed that yellowtyre also had to cancel a while back and no one seems to have picked up. Have a good ride y'all.

does he sandblast the frame aswell?

cranking > £65 includes the wetspray and a clear coat?

quite impressed with this paint job...

£65 all in including sandblasting. Speak to Mario. He's very helpful.

Mario resprayed my old chipped/paint splattered (didn't see the patch on the road till too late) Orbit frame in June. One colour (enamel), no lugs, £65. Done in a week. I'm pretty pleased but not done this before so can't compare. Most people who've seen it think he's done a decent job. He was suggested by one of the guys at Brixton Cycles who stripped the bike and put it together again for me once he was done. The new paint job is tougher than the original, that's for sure.

Poots, I reckon that if I had enough fixed girls interested, I could add that as a section to the day. If the second is sucessful I'll be running them once a month.

Can I also please put in a bid for the future for sessions for those who have done classes (beg/int) to practice? Not fixed too? Thanks

Not superficial at all. A woman after my own heart actually. Not used to all this colour and branding.

Edit previous post: Haven't ridden my new bike much since I only picked it up v recently but I test rode a number of makes and liked the Lexa best.

Will stop cloggin up this thread now.

Only ridden it once but I like it. Still getting used to it though as I'm used to steel and campag. If you like, I'll ride it for Brighton and you can try it out. I'm small though - it's a 47cm frame.
