hmmm, now reformatted, still showing in disk management, but still not coming up on the computer for use....

Right deleted it then got worried, as all options disapeared, but now it seems possible to create a new partition, for the whole of the 500gig disk, but NTFS. Coolio

Its calling itself a partition - do I need to just 'delete' the partition, as this seems the only option available. The rest are greyed out

without a macbook....
I don't own a macbook but want to start using the external drive, only Windows doesn't recognise it of course.
Does anyone know what to do?
