alright, so I'm new and I don't know a lot about how things work here.
Sorry if it's a repost, I didn't feel like looking through 182 pages. I also thought that making a slightly pointless post in a massively pointless thread in the "miscellaneous and meaningless" thread wouldn't be all that bad.
how about NOT making a thread about your classic peugeot build, and just putting it in the 'current projects' thread instead and save yourself a helluva lot of flaming?
Well because I have quite a lot of specific questions about the bike that I'd like to see if I could get some responses too. Also, usually if you post in a long chain-thread like that you'd be lucky to get many replies, if any at all.
I don't see what would be wrong with me creating a thread about my rebuild in the mechanical section (which has this tagline "Building a bike through to correcting a problem and re-building after a crash. Everything mechanical in here."). But if that's not 'allowed' I won't.
