You’ve got a good list… shed beats no shed; how shonky is the access; how much old cr@p is there on the plot/how overgrown… any evidence of bindweed etc. reality is, unless super lucky, will most likely be a plot thats been abandoned… all mine have been!

We had Dunelm insulated curtains across an opening to a shoddy extension with no internal door. 10 degrees difference either side of them.

Mine are all done (southeast London). Reckon that sweetcorn decides when it’s autumn… just absolutely stops and gives up en masse…

I grow them uncovered and pretty much left alone… get the odd nibble from slugs bit other than that seem ok.
