My dads mate let me ride his cervelo carbon fibre and cannondale slice time trial carbon fibre bikes, worth about 10000 pounds between them, and since my Raleigh feels like it's made of lead! so weight is going to be on the agenda for the next few buys...

picked up an old bike last week, and began building my first ever fixie! fundamentally its a fixie, just enough so i could get to grips with riding fixed. but still needs work, here is my Raleigh The Winner in its current state...
I wouldn't say an issue, im used to riding a big heavy downhill bike anyway, so this feels ok! just something to consider really!
