I was testing riding the Seething 600 audax, which interacted with the 100/50 routes a little I think, though I think we were there later on in the afternoon.

T'was a headwindy ride up to Wells in the morning, then across the wind to Wayford Bridge, before finally picking up a taily at Potter Heigham for the run back to Seething via the Ferry.

The 49/19 fixed gear was a bit of a grind into the wind, and a bit too spinny downwind. Nice weekend out though. Actual event is this weekend - and there will definitely be some fixers out.

Last weekend, I rode the Cambrian Minor Audax (160km) from Leominster to Staylittle and back, in Wales. 168km and 3000m of climbing, on my converted 1985 Dawes Scorpio, running a 49/19 fixed gear.

My legs still ache, and it's now Thursday!
