In desperate need of 135mm rear axle and quick release skewer. Both my originals bent. No idea why, just old and knackered I guess! Any help much appreciated.

Hey Plastic Pedals. I understand your pain! I had the same problem last week mid work commute. I whacked the loose crank back on only for it to fall off a couple of times before i eventually got to work. Without the right tools for the job I thought i'd got it back on nice and tight but over the week it would work it's way loose. Having taken her in to be tightened up properly I was shown the chewed taper and a not so happy bottom bracket spindle which had to be replaced. Check that your's is still in good nick before you put a new crank on as it will only lead to the same problem sooner rather than later.

I'd be interested in the SR crankset. I only need the non chain crank! Happy to buy the set though. How are the threads which would sit around the bottom bracket, how worn are they? It's difficult to tell from the picture but they look pretty well ridden. Many thanks.
