  Look, its great that the cabbie 'got his' and everything, but as cyclists and individuals, i don't think relying on the the police force or any arm of the state is anyway to protect ourselves / make is safer on the roads. Bullyboy motorists need to be held accountable for their actions and often there is no proof that would hold up in any court to have any repercussions for the driver, even if statements are taken by the cops. More numbers on critical mass, more aggressive cycling, lets ride in the middle of the road not the gutters

  fair enough but dont forget that a MOTORIST IS USUALLY DRIVING SOMETHING ALOT BIGGER AND COULD KILL YOU. if someone is giving it beef on the road deal with it but dont go looking for it by playing who can be the biggest cunt in the middle of the road..

  Why? I had a rear light. I tagged behind riders so that I got the benefit of their visibility from the front. Plus they wouldn't be able to keep up with me anyway. :)

  going so fast people wont see you. dangermouse wouldnt use lights..

  I cant stand this rain at the moment. Been training for my London to Plymouth ride, (just something I have wanted to do). Im going to wait until summer, but going to build a new bike for the journey.
