I'm toying with selling it on now...its bugging me. I was considering getting fitted for a bike at Mercian and might just do it now. Its got the original wheels, brakes, it has a campagnolo bottom bracket, a derailer of sorts...interested? Size is 22.5" C-T-T, rear drop outs 120mm. King of Mercia frame in metallic brown and silver, circa 1985.

There's a very tiny hole into the top tube via the seat tube, but don't think I could get anything like Polyfilla in there...not sure I'd want to. Might try the superglue trick...

    How common is this?

    Hi,
complete newbie here - I wonder if anybody can help, I recently purchased a Mercian frame from eBay, its my first build and I'm slowly learning as much as I can. I got the frame today but noticed something weird - when I pick the frame up and move it up and down I can hear something inside one of the tubes rolling around. I think its the top tube or the down tube, I've no idea what on earth it is but its really annoying.

Any ideas how I get it out? The Mercian frame doesn't appear to have any way of getting inside the tubes, the seat tube and part next to the top tube are blocked by the lugs I think. I'm stumped...

Any help most welcome...at this rate its a de-weld at Mercian!

    Thanks

I really should invest in some better lights, all I've got are some cheap and cheeful Cats Eye things...do the job but aren't brilliant. Great thread.

Can anybody recommend any decent instant coffee? Given my need for a quick fix at work, I'm reduced to the dire off the shelf selection at Sainsbury's...they all seem to be very much of a muchness... :(

Just watched Tron Legacy in 3D...which was most entertaining. The fabulous looking women in it too was a nice bonus :)
