I never bought the JTL hype last season, he was in form at times when very few other riders were and his only genuine noteworthy ride was at the Worlds. I'm assuming Sky did some due dilligence, around his physiological data, but he's been rubbish this year and it wouldn't surprise me if they let him go at the end of the season.
It is a pretty big jump with speed and distance from conti to world tour though, you can hardly expect him to start winning classics. Plus I doubt he expected to get any leadership roles in his first year at sky execept maybe The TOB.

Uran hasn't shown any weakness so far but it's hard to know if he'll be able to stay consistent for the full three weeks. He had some great days last year followed by some not so great. Really surprised by his time trial though. I reckon he'll be GT contender soon enough.
Hopefully we won't pay for his efforts tomorrow. Think that'll be the last time he's given any leeway in this race.

It's think it's got more to do with it being a much harder race. I was still hoping that the last few stages had been a bit of a blip but I'm starting to have doubts now. I think the route has really just highlighted his all of weaknesses.
It's a shame, I really wanted him to stuff it to all of the critics.
Still, Lot of racing left!

I really hope we get to see a proper show down between Brad and Tony Martin at the worlds. I don't think we've had a chance to see the two of them head to head whilst both being at their best.
