The french Douze exists with a step-through frame.
They say it is as stiff as the classic frame.3 versions : 40 cm, 60 cm and 80 cm (larger box).
I tried one today with a friend. Compared to my Bullit, it was slightly less sporty (still it is not a bakfiets) and a bit less stiff (again, not a soft noodle !). Corners waaaaaay better thanks to the cable direction.
A great ride. Expensive, but really great ! -
Just to be clear : this is an original Vulpine product :)
I wrote that the shape is different from the "original" because they had two models of the rain jacket :
- Original rain jacket: "sporty" model, with "butt flap", no back pocket, reflective strips on the shoulders. Not produced anymore.
- Harrington rain jacket : classier shape, no sporty details (no flap and reflective strips), different shape and a back pocket. There is still a similar product on their website, but made in Britain and much more expensive.
- Original rain jacket: "sporty" model, with "butt flap", no back pocket, reflective strips on the shoulders. Not produced anymore.

For Sale
Vulpine harrington rain jacket. New with tag ! Only tried it at home.
Size M, color "Camel"£80
Bought it on ebay, but it is too small for me :/
Smaller than the "original" rain jacket (I've got one that fits perfectly) under arms + chest.Unfortunately for you and me, I'm in France, so I'll have to post it. From here. Don't know yet how much it costs exactly, but you can expect between 10 and 15£ I guess.

I love Vulpine products, but my rain jacket doesn't protect me from rain at all (like, not AT ALL) after less than 2 years.
I've tried washing it (non organic detergent) + tumble drying it, just as Vulpine recommends... but nothing changed.
I've bought Nikwax Cotton repoofer. Did not change anything.I really love this jacket, but I stopped wearing it under the rain, which is a shame considering the pricetag and the name of the jacket :(
What about you "rain jackets" owners (mine is the "original" but the harrington is made with the same "epic cotton" fabric) ?
Didn't prevent me from buying other Vulpine stuff though ;)
Hi there,
i'm trying to convert Gevenalle levers/shifters from 2x11 to 1x12.
But it seems impossible to source an original lever blade :(
(out of stock at TRP)
Does any of you have a left lever blade (black) or even an old complete lever ?
Could trade it against money.... or one new TRP hylex RS brake.
This is part 6 on this illustration from TRP
