While I was in the Edinboro Castle in Camden a few nights ago it seems someone tried to steal my bike. It was raining like hell, must have been pretty frustrating for them. At the end of the night I went to unlock and saw my mini-D had its outer layer cut open a few times in increasing amounts, no damage to the inner metal part. I think they tried prying it apart as well since there are some nicks in the nearby paint now. I suppose other than venting, maybe this can serve as a warning to anyone who locks up in that area just west of the tube station.

Greetings. I'm new to London, been riding only a couple years around Boston. I'm here for at least a year for school. I've got a 2010 Globe Roll 1 (the grey/blue one, seems unavailable in the UK?) at home. If I have it shipped over, would anyone be interested in buying it? Is cycling here as dangerous as it looks from the sidewalk?

Two nights ago I aided the police in arresting a bike thief making an attempt at a mountain bike in a friend's neighbourhood. Tonight I found my own bike (in my neighbourhood) with both tires slashed and the saddle chopped to bits. I THINK I can rule out purposeful aggression.
