Nice. Yeah I’d seen the bit in the second picture which heads northwards from the A6 end of Borrowdale and thought it looked pretty rough. I love how remote and quiet some of the valleys are round there.

Sounds like a good loop, I’ve never ventured that far north. Had eyed up a couple of bridleways north out of Low Borrowdale but suspect they are more MTB territory. Not local unfortunately but have some family the other side of Kendal so like to explore when I’m visiting.

Nothing epic, but a lovely sunset on yesterday’s ride.

I can recommend the track which goes through Low Borrowdale between the A685 and the A6, you can get there from Sedbergh if you head north on the lanes that run along the western foot of the Howgills.

No experience of Rapha but the Albion Three Season Bibs are easily the comfiest I’ve ever worn.

There are some good sections across the marshes between Ince/Elton and Frodsham, then on NCR5 from Aston to Dutton Locks before looping back towards Delamere Forest. Don't have any routes from Chester though as I'm in the other direction.

Green Oil for me, doesn't seem to perform any worse than the alternatives and at least it's not spraying PFCs everywhere..

I'd take the Caledonia jersey if @youramericanlover passes and you'd post.

Yeah, did think the Benno looked good but the only other longtail that she might be comfortable with size wise is the Moustache Lundi 20, sounds like there's a lack of accessories available currently though.

Will encourage her to go and have a look at a UA or similar but sounds like she would be able to get the hang of carrying them on the GSD.

Anyone carrying two kids on the back of a GSD? My other half had a go on one yesterday and liked it a lot but is a bit worried about having the kids on the back if they start rocking around and misbehaving. They are 9 months and 3 years old atm. She's 5'2 and quite light so thinks it might be easier to manage them with an urban arrow or similar.
