what lenght are the omnoms?
Hi, the omniums are the 165mm version's.
The bike is still available and I'm still willing to split, but will take £90 for the wheel set. Can't really comment in much detail on how good TF is as a brand but they use to be based near my work and sold a lot of decent stuff before they became Kinoko cycles, now in Golden Square. There's a lot of positive reviews out there on this frame and the S2. I enjoyed it, despite the little use I got from it!

For sale is my Tokyo Fixed S1 build, which since finishing has probably done about 20miles tops, and spent the rest of the time in my flat.
I'm selling it as I've already got a fixed commuter and want to put the proceeds towards a road bike instead.I bought the frame and forks back in early 2012 from a member of staff of TF for £350. He'd also included a pair of Carbon forks but not the original tange threaded headset.
I've got the original S1 Keirin forks but opted to keep the thread-less carbon ones on it. The stem on the build is an OEM one from my S.E lager, and due to the shortness of the forks and bulkiness of it; only one bolt on the stem is gripping the fork's, it still feels safe with no play, but could certainly do with changing over for a more compact one, if these forks are kept on the bike.
This site has some photos of the original forks :
http://www.thefootdown.co.uk/2011/07/06/tokyo-fixed-s1-frame/
Mine are immaculate! All of the components are new with the exception of the stem and frame/forks.
I'm open to sensible offers as would like to get back as close to what I spent as poss, which is over £750.
So offers around £700.
Points :
The frame is pretty much immaculate, though the paint job flaked when the BB was fitted and the same for the headset. I know this is common but worth mentioning, I've touched it up with black nail polish.
Also the headset for some reason just slotted in and didn't need pressing, doesn't affect anything but maybe a better headset might suit the S1.Seat Tube : C2T=51cm / C2C=49cm

Just to recap on the importance of getting your witnesses, I was involed in a hit and run last July on Shelton street, near Endell street.
The incident to sum it up involved a very aggressive driver getting impatient with me and sounding his horn, when I stopped to question what he was doing he slowly drove into the back of me.
The impact wasn't enough to knock me over but forceful enough to shock people into come running over and start having ago at the driver. Not that I can't fight me own battles but I think people genuinely felt he was a complete twat. When I asked him myself what he was playing at his response was pretty much as follows :
"fuck you!, if you wanna report me, my car will be in the NCP car park, you can look at it there you fucking prick of a cyclist", after seeing how charming this BMW driver was, I jotted down his number plate as did a couple of Pedestrians (who were kind enough to instantly give me their business cards) and reported the incident to Charing cross police station. The extent of damage to the bike was minimal just a split rear tyre but shocking nevertheless. You just don't expect cars to deliberately drive into you!
6 months later, the police sent me a satisfactory letter stating that they had decided to prosecute the driver for two offences 1) Driving without due care and attention and 2) Failing to stop at the scene of an accident. He was fined £800 and disqualified from driving for 6 months.
Hopefully next time he will think twice about running cyclists off the road.
As I didn't have any injuries and the tyres were quite inexpensive there was no gain in it for me but more a matter of principle and I'm quite pleased with the result.I just hope that this isn't an all to common incident!
Here's a photo of the offenders car! (stay clear of him, he'll be coming back to the roads in July)

Hi, I'm after some opionions on rear lights, I've got my front winter light sorted (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19189), but rear light is a bit pants.
I've got a Cateye rear light which I don't think will cut it for winter riding, cars tend to get a little too close for comfort.
After going doing some reading the new exposure flares look extremely bright and seem to be very well built. 100% water tight.
The other light that I'm looking at is the Smart Lunar R1.
Is there anyone with either of these lights that can help me make a decision.
Ta.Sorry if I should be starting a new post, but I've got noob rights at the moment and need to get 3 replies behind me.
Trying to re-ignite this thread, so bike is still available for splitting but prices have been dropped.
I'm also willing to ship stuff around or collection from SE5...
Any questions or for additional photos just ask.
Nick
