    As Ive just built an old Carlton single speed I thought it would be good to sign up.
    Hopefully to share any knowledge about bike building and expand it too.

    wondering what rims are those? tubes or clincher? looking ages for a lopro clincher rims with 24 holes....any help ist highly appreciated TIA

    Rims haven't got any decals on em so I can't help you with what they are, sorry .

    They are clinchers BTW.

    Nothing to do with what's acceptable now and the like, just the general notion that moustache bar are much more suited than a riser.

    I agree with you, but unfortunately for us, risers on track bikes are not a la mode.

    are risers not hip any more?

    are moustache bars the new risers now?

    What happens if I put moustache bars on it and in a few months time, moustache bars are not "a la mode"!

    If dudes start fitting old dragster bars to track bikes should I start doing it too.

    the bars, are the bars, are the bars, and they work just fine.

    There will be some drops going on at some stage but there's no rush.
