do you have these?
they're great indicators of where to ride on sketchy or narrow roads, especially for inexperienced cyclists. although some portion of the ride may be spent explaining to drivers what exactly the symbol means, since they're rarely accompanied by a public awareness campaign. -
i usually decide on a tattoo by seeing a picture or getting an idea which i then e-mail to myself or write down. after a few months (or sometimes years) if i still like the concept i start looking for an artist whose work matches what i have in mind. however this is kind of a moronic and perfectionist process and i often wish i could convince myself to get impulse tattoos.

...I've noticed that women riders can be less assertive, more likely to hug the kerbs etc. Perhaps that's why so more of the cyclists who are killed in London are women. But drivers do seem to be more aggressive toward female riders too though.

chelley, i have the front of my thigh tattooed from the hip to the knee and it was a cakewalk. in fact getting my legs tattooed is my new favorite because it's so easy to deal with. then again once you've had your chest done nothing really compares. i've heard childbirth isn't even as bad. out of curiosity who's tattooing you at jayne doe?
