ah thanks! i did think chainring initially, just trying to even out both sides of a flippidy flop hub. going from 42-15 fixed to 42-17 on the freewheel is not fun. thanks for the advice though, i'll just up the fixed to a 17 and look for a 45/46 chainring instead. 'wanted: 45/46T 130bcd chainring' haha.

Hi, not much more too say really. im after a smaller freewheel.
im pretty much spinning up all the way to work when the nottingham roads flatten out. currently running 42-17. any help would be great!

i can go with that. any excuse to buy a loud saw!

i'd say nip it down to a wood yard and ask them to zip it through on their table saw. takes seconds and you dont have to clear up the dust!! sounds like a good solution though, interested to see the outcome!
