I'd like to give credit where credit is due. I was looking for some bits including Izumi V chain. I contacted Velodrome by e-mail to be told that the chain was out of stock but would be available in January.
The following day, Thursday 20th Dec, out of the blue, an e-mail arrived from Michelle at Velodrome to let me know that they now had some stock and I could place an order if I still needed the chain. Not many companies would have taken the time to do this unless by means of some automated service. My order was placed on Thursday. The package was despatched on Friday and arrived here today, Saturday 22nd.
With Christmas coming I was resigned to not receiving the parts I ordered until after Christmas so I was pleased with this service which allows me to do some essential maintenance this weekend before going back to work on Monday.
So thanks to Velodrome and Michelle in particular for service that, for me at least, was good and better than that of many of their competitors.

I wrote "good service" not "great service". This is in the context of what has gone before in this thread, the fact that it's nearly Christmas and that they took the trouble to write to me to tell me what I wanted had become available.
I'm a happy customer.
