I hadnt run for over a year, but am cycling at least 3 times a week (commute - 30 k each way!) Started running again a few weeks ago, but cross country up hill stuff, and after the first run my achilles hurt a lot - then the pain went away, and all was fine. Did another run and it has been bad for a week since. This is the first time this has happened to me - it has been suggested to me that due to the amount of cycling I do the tendons (or muscles) have shortened and the act of running is stretching them again - which is certainly how it feels. Any one else suffer with this?

Cheers for the replies - I have found a rack from Tubus which appears to connect via the skewer, although I think there is a weight limit of 25 kg, which I figure is enough anyway.
Just seen the new Kaffenback frames and I have to say I prefer the old version; any suggestions for a steel frame for touring?
Can someone help me please - have a dlink wifi router at home; on my ipod touch I can get hold of the wifi, but on the iphone 4 no. Keeps asking me for the password, but then doesnt take the wifi. I tried another wifi yesterday and it work, although this wifi was not password protected. I think maybe I need to change to password key on the router?
