it's a nice looking elswick hopper going quite cheaply.
I've been trying to persuade my bf to go for this bike, I've got an Elswick and it's lovely and I quite like the idea of us having the full name- Elswick Hopper

this tip is for people who have brooks or other hard leather saddles, don't buy brooks proofhide which costs a bomb for such a small amount, get Chelsea Leather Food or Fiebings Aussie Leather Conditioner. I work with leather and there is not much difference in the products. And if you go for a saddle that has been left in storage for a long time or has been left out in the rain and it's gone hard, just treat it with leather conditioner on the top and underneath for two weeks and it will become supple again and mold to your shape.

"I am relisting this purely because the bids on this item were too high for what I am selling and I want to make sure any buyer pays a reasonable amount for something which they are looking for."
Huh?? Seller seems a bit confused -
I've just bought my first road bike to do longer rides on the weekend. I have gone for a 60s men's elswick because I'm quite a tall lady (5'11'') but I have a slight problem, I have child's hands and find reaching the brake levers a bit of a challenge. It seems I'm not the only one on this forum with this issue. I wanted to ask which levers are the best for this problem and if anyone had better luck with different handlebars and stems? I've heard that the nitto drip drop stem is quite good for reach but having trouble sourcing it. Thanks!
Hello everyone, just wanted to say I've opened up a bike stall on Broadway Market in the London Fields School court yard. I will be there every Saturday and I carry new old stock and reconditioned vintage bike accessories. I have items for all different types of riders and if there is something particular you are looking for I will try to help find it. Come on by and have a look if you are in the area.
