I think it killed one man, critically injured another and injured another four. Not a bad haul.

The previous page is an incredible page. Very subtle.

I love that even the little kid is transfixed by that mammoth (elephant?) boning session

Awesome! Thanks Clefty. Tourists do annoy me but at least it makes the area vibrant.

I'll have a better job when I move so may be able to make the step up from tesco to waitrose and cement my middle class status. Though I spose living within half a mile of Helen Mirren does that anyway.

    Thanks guys, keep it coming.

"you're surrounded by water / tourists / shit areas though"

Yeah I used to live in docklands and getting the DLR through shadwell with those grimy estates made me shiver. Walked home once too and thought I was gonna get raped (I'm a guy).

    Just read the article.

Would have got less because of the indirectness of the injuries. Died from hitting the ground because of the punch, not just the punch.

    Either way, he's a scumbag.

    Thin skull rule.

Mens rea automatically assumed when you throw a punch as it's intended to cause bodily harm.

That the guy unluckily died from just one punch is not a defence.

He was lucky to get only 18 months.

Have any forumengers ever lived in Wapping?

Thinking of swapping a Pimlico council flat for the East and something more modern.

How accessible is it by bike (Pimmers is so easy to get everywhere)?

Anyone know of any good estate agents there?

    Any good bars/restaurants?

    How are supermarkets and that?

    You know, general vibe.

Wouldn't mind living further East than here in Pim because there's stuff going on and it's cheaper (in theory- currently paying £1300 pcm for 2 bedroom inc bills & council tax except quarterly leccy bill, so that'll be hard to beat.)

Any advice welcome, even the usual forum acerbic stuff.
