Thanks, had not seen that. The charge bikes look modern enough.

    Hi

I'm looking at building up something a bit odd so thought I'd pop my head in here.

I was commuting on a Btwin road bike which was quick but not great at weekends and shopping so I bought a paddywagon 3speed hybrid which is far slower than I thought.

What I'm wanting to build is a modern Mixte with drop bars and preferably hub gears. Fairly lightweight build but nothing too flash 10.5kg plus or minus a bit is fine.

Does such a frame exist in 54/56 I can only find a Soma brand frame but that's way over budget.

    Thanks I'll pop in tomorrow.

Has anyone got a working phone number for Velovitality, I appreciate its a one man company but I'd like to call before returning/exchanging something.

Are Santa Fixie a decent company, they seem to operate in the UK but are based in Barcelona?

    Thanks very much.

Think I'll send it back as I don't want to bend it and snap it. Thanks for your help.

Anyone know where I can get a black pelago commuter rack in stock please, preferably delivered unless they are Cambridge based.

    Evening,

I'm having trouble fitting the metro rack I bought. The blue bike photos are from the website, the green is my bike.

First the bolts that attach the legs to bottom of the fork legs are not long enough, plus I think I would need washers to make it fit without a gap. Is this normal?

Second on the videos I've seen online the attachment that attaches to the U brake normally moves to aid the fitting. The metro bikes one is welded on preventing adjustment, I think I would need to flex it to get a horizontal fit. Is this normal? It also would be touching the headset unless I shimed it with washers.

I'm okay with tools etc but much prefer riding so any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks

Cheers, think I'll get that metro rack as its a fair bit cheaper.

I think I read that some racks only work with curved blade forks not straight blade forks.
