Since posting, I've discovered I'm pretty much pennyless till the end of the month. If you don't mind though, I might drop you a PM on the 28th, see if you still have a few rolls.
With the Pentax, it seemed to struggle mostly with reflective surfaces. I guess it baffled the IR sensor. A good workaround if you're trying to shoot through glass or water or whatever is to just get your focus from a tree or a brick wall or something at the approximate distance from you that your subject is. You can just swing the camera back round and recompose, and the camera will have kept the focus. More indirect focus than auto, but I still really rate the camera for holiday snaps and such.

Brown, seems like there's only guys from Chelmsford, Braintree, and Brentwood at the moment. Other than the view from the station, I don't even know what Romford looks like, I'm afraid. If you were to get something together though, I'd definitely hop on a train for it.
Rich, we're playing again this Sunday if you're in the area. If you can't make it this weekend, have a look on the Facebook group, and you can see if anyone's up for game next time you're about.

I've been having a search for what constitutes acceptable mallet-on-mallet play. Found this on an American site;
-Hooking some ones mallet with your mallet, to pull it away from the ball should be legal.
-Hooking a mallet out from someone while they're resting on it so they foot down should be legal.
-Lifting some ones mallet from underneath to interfere with a shot, or to take a ball away should be legal.
-Pinning a mallet down so the shooter or person with possession cant swing their mallet should be legal.
SWATTING A MALLET WITH A HACKING MOTION, OR DOWNWARD SWING SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL.
Is that pretty much the consensus?

Would you post those straps? I'd pay the postage, obv.
