Do you work for Derby Cycles?

    nope.Just a bike nut.

had my first bike crash on a fixed Trike into a house wall back in the early 70's

i do have press release photos if people want them, but i thought that would be too clinical rather than a personal view of a visit.
and you mat see that my interest is MTB and "urban" bikes as there is not many pics of the road bikes.

built more road bikes than MTBs but own more MTB than road.

Wow, what a new low of petty grumpiness. Yeh the poor guy has fucked up the whole site! So many pictures. Of bikes! Bikes! How the hell is the forum going to find more room for pictures of cake and pie and crumble? Or reposts of memes that are so hilariously cracking up-making.

    can do that as well.

    but will not.

    D'oh

posting up a load of photos of the frame building will be a lot more interesting. Also cows.

and that may happen, but you have to get ideas from somewhere.

not sure if you saw my fixed build or not. So here it is.

reason. short commute and Pub runs. and Very European.

    Disc on the front.

why not it clears the fender stays.

Internal brake hose. why not. bolt on the fork leg, needed to route the hose. will be a bottle opener mount.

What about the cow, was it salty?
    Was it a german cow?

it was good. it was German i understand. the onion gravy was great but was lacking Yorkshire pudding.

    you're building the frame yourself?

yes, why not. i fit role cages in racing cars for fun. not to mention building the whole car, except the paint. Not good with paint.

Have access to some nice tubes. can weld (braze and silver solder as well). know abit about geometry.

first i need to see what fixtures and fittings there are out there. then i will see which way i will go with the frame. But it will not be mainstream. it will fit what i need at the time as that is the best way to see what works.

but as I am not in London they do have a point.

but i do have a SS and a fixed.

Also i am grateful that there are people that would not be seen dead on some of these bikes, would it not be boring if we all liked the same shit?

no I dont have a Focus or a Kallkoff but did have a Raleigh back in the '70s as i think most kids getting into bikes at that time did.

and my next new bike should be my first frame build.
