Any interest in this? £150 for a complete track bike is a bargain !!

Montana track bike. Frame is aluminium and the forks are carbon.

Bike is sized as follows: 58cm from centre of bottom bracket to the top of seat tube. The top tube is 56cm centre to centre.

Cranks are Sachs Rival and are 170mm. The chain ring is TA 51T. Comes with track forks (there is no drilling in the forks so no front brake can be fitted). The rear stay does have a hole for a brake so a rear brake could be added if desired, however, this has been built as a track bike and so brakes would not be needed.

If you wanted this as a fixie for around town a replacement carbon fork drilled for a front brake can obtained cheaply enough.

The rear wheel has a 15T sprocket on the drive side and a 13T sprocket on the non drive side. In addition I have a bag of spares to go with it including a 18T and 14T sprockets. There are some spare nuts, chain-links, lock-rings and washers as well.

This would make an ideal entry level bike and a great intro in to the world of track at an affordable price. If you have any questions please ask.

Collection only please from Sandhurst, Berkshire.

Price dropped to £150 as I want rid of this.

Gazelle Champion Mondial Special AB. 531c tubing on frame and forks

    Framenumber: 3292
    Groupset: Shimano 600 SIS
Size: 58cm centre to top, top tube 56cm centre to centre.
    rims: Mavic G40
Price: £300. Sorry no offers. Bike can be collected from Sandhurst, Berkshire.

Bike is in lovely condition throughout and has only minor paint chips in the odd place to disguish this from new. No dents or dings in the frame tubing.

    Spec is as follows:

Groupset is Shimano 600EX SIS from around 1985. Rear mech and levers are indexed.
The majority of the groupset is all from this period, however, the brake levers are aero levers from a later groupset. The pedals included are clipless and weren't produced in 1985. These are are Shimano 600 clipless and are from a later group. The only defect in the spec is that I have lost one of the crank arm dust caps. Otherwise it's pristine.

The bike comes with pump and bottle cage. I'm only selling to make space in the garage as I have too many bikes.

Is this frame designed for 130mm hubs ? I noticed that the frame decals predate the move from 126mm to 130mm rear drop out spacing. I wondered if the frame was 130mm at the rear drop outs or whether the drop outs were pulled apart to accommodate the newer hubs ?

    Lovely bike BTW.

    Hi All,

I'm trying to replace a dust cap on my Shimano 600 EX chainset from the mid eighties. It's the cap with the allen key slot in the centre. If anyone has one spare please PM me details and we'll sort out payment.

    Thanks

    Jon.
