so someone here had the kind heart to sell it cheap on here, and you got yourself a bargain. Why not pass that bargain on to someone else?
Bet you were happy getting it cheap, why not make someone else just as happy?
Re the size - it's about 56cm, as I said in my first post, not 58/59.
Re everything else - I'm not trying to pull a fast one, I'm just skint.
I also think that it's still a real bargain at £280, I would have happily paid that for it when I bought it. You may think differently, that's fine.oh yes, (edit), I also had a £20 train fare to go and pick it up, so it cost me a bit more than the price

Yes, it was, I was lucky to get it for significantly less than what I think is its true value. It's a lovely bike, and I'm sad to have to sell it, but riding it has increased the amount of pain I've been getting in my knee, so I'm going to have to stick to gears until my knee problem is sorted. I actually think it's probably worth upwards of £300, and I certainly think £280 is a very fair price. If you were lucky enough to pick up a valuable work of art for £20 at a car boot sale would you feel constrained to sell it on for no more than you paid for it, or would you try to get its market value?
Cheers,
Andy

I’ve only had this bike for a few weeks, and it’s a really lovely ride, but I’ve got cartilidge problems in my knee and riding a single gear is really aggravating them, plus I’m skint and need cash for a holiday, so with some sadness I’m putting it up for sale and reverting to geared riding only.
No idea what frame it is (the badge is from another bike) but the tubing is butted, its straight and it looks really nice. Size is about 56 cm. I'm 5ft 10" and it fits perfectly. Set up fixed at the moment but has a flip-flop hub.A lot of the components were pretty much brand new when I bought it, and I’ve done no more than 100 miles on it since then.
Looking for £280.

out of interest - what did the judge find amounted to dangerous driving on the facts of your case?
From the looks of the original thread, it was charged as careless driving, not dangerous driving. For careless driving the prosecution only need to prove that the standard of driving fell below what would be expected of a careful and competent driver, whereas for dangerous driving they must prove that the standard fell far below that level.

Look, I know it's a bit cheeky, and I thought twice before posting it, but I really need the cash, and I really do think it's still a bargain. I'd prefer to sell it to someone on here than get another £20 or £30 selling it on eBay. If I've upset or offended anyone I'm sorry.
