Rod
Not quite, but similar to the last picture on the second thread. If you run your finger along the top of the top tube to where it meets the front of the seat tube, just at the join there, so I guess it must be the weld?
Everyone else
Thanks for the replies. I'll take a pic tomorrow and upload and I'll let you know how I get on with Condor, I'm more hopeful now then I was this morning. Couldn't find anything on the Condor site regarding warranties!

Hi
I bought a Condor Percorso Frame in Sep 2009. I'm a big guy at 6' 4" and 15 stone ish. Having cracked two Alu SS frames and after much research and advice I choose Ti and simply there wasn't a lot of choice for SS. Anyway it's been totally superb, the ride is sublime as you would expect from Ti, except today having cleaned the road muck off the frame, I noticed that there is a crack at the point the top tube meets the seat tube.
With a bit of backwards pressure on the seat tube the crack opens up! It would explain the creaking that I have been getting for the last few months and which I thought was coming from the bottom bracket.
I thought Ti was indestructible or nearly. And no I haven't been in a nasty accident, the only time I came off it was in March 2010 when the back wheel slipped on ice, I had it checked by Condor pretty soon after and the only damage was my handlebars, hand, knee and elbow!
Anybody had this problem with Ti or had a cracked Ti frame? Off to the shop sometime soon, going to be interesting I expect. Any advice/thoughts would be useful. Is Ti the wonder material that it's claimed to be?

Hi
I recently had to take a pair of Quattro pedals back to my LBS to be repaired, having only recently had them rebuilt in July. My LBS had problems sourcing the rebuild kit and when they spoke to the supplier they (the supplier) had to "cobble" a single pedal kit up. My LBS were told that Crank Brothers don't make/supply Quattro pedals any more. I haven't been able to confirm this, but thought you might want to know.

Hi
I use two pairs of Crank Brothers Egg Beater pedal for my regular commute to work. They have been used for over five years, but until recently I they have perfect for commuting. They have been serviced and rebuilt in my LBS when they needed to be, but in the last few months I keep coming unclipped, usually when hill climbing on my single speed. I have changed the cleats and changed back to my last remaing old style solid brass ones, all to no avail. I have used the same shoes for some time, so I am assuming I don't need t use the plastic shims.
As you can imagine coming unclipped whilst hill climbing on a single-speed is not fun. I love the look of the older style Egg Beaters, so I am keen not to have to throw away the "classic" looking ones, but equally I realise that nothing last for ever. Has any body else experienced this? I was wondering if it might have something to do with the new cleats which look less robust than the earlier ones.
Any thoughts and advice welcome.
Thanks in advance.
