From what I've seen in the World Cup, any sub 300 score would be considered containing and manageable to chase? I've not watched cricket for a little while and used to watch test matches on channel 4 so it's all pretty quick compared to what I used to watch!

Depends, if I were you I would just ride it over the summer and see if you like it, to be honest, any 10 speed stuff is pretty cheap now, even the high end stuff! Can be done for sub £200-£150
