    My Colnago;

    No bottle cages on this Colnago either and I'm not sure about the hoods/tape/cables/saddle colours but it's gorgeous.
    More of this kind of thing....please.

    whereabouts is (and what is) the shop?

    It Harry's Bikes on the Clonskeagh Road. The bike is even on their website, it appears to be an advertising the fact that BLB products are available from them so I suppose that slightly excuses the hideousness of it.

    Outside a bike shop in Dublin, not sure if it's meant to be serious or some sort of ironic hipster build but I think it'll be at home in the Anti thread.

    And sorry about the poor quality picture...

    My '81 Strada Speciale, I really should ride it more (and get some proper top tube cable clips).

    Yes. Where did you get the stem and handlebars from?

    Got the stem on flEa-bay and the handlebars are NOS from a dutch website http://defietsenmaker.nl/, not cheap but they are perfect, bought the new Pinarello decals there too.

    Why did you change that beautiful colour scheme?

    Hmmmm!!! I have heard of people that actually like the 'Spumoni' colour scheme (check out the brochure http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/pinarello89/2.jpg ), but I do have a bit of a thing for red bicycles especially if they're Italian. And of course, plain red is a bit easier to spray than crazy four-colour ice cream bike.

    Anyway, the paint work was blistering rust from underneath so she was stripped down to make sure it was nothing more serious than a hard life on the road and/or some dodgy original paint work. Columbus SLX tubing is apparently a bit on the thin side and doesn't take long to permanently damage.

    looks nice, take stickers off wheels, colour in logo on or swap out chain ring?

    Thanks, thought about removing the HUGE wheel stickers alright but was going to wait until they started coming off, they do however seem to be still welded on solidly after 3000km. They are very good wheels btw, smooth, free running and still true, I did initially buy them because they're Italian but I can't find any fault with them.

    I would like a silver (& less in your face) chain ring but I'll probably wait until I'm 100% sure I'll keep her non-geared before I do anything.
