At some point soon Thomas is going to be looking for a team leader role in a grand tour. He might get a shot at the Giro next year, but that's always going to be a secondary target for Sky, so he won't get the support that Froome enjoys at the TdF.
I presume that's why Porte wants out.
Sean Kelly is probably a closer match, but he'd got more classics victories under his belt by the time he was 29. And higher Grand Tour placings.
Merckx?
Thanks for the time gap lesson! It all makes sense now.
Oh. I was expecting him to gain time after he summited.
Time gaps to Majka have got to be off, right? He didn't appear to gain any time after going over the top.
Amazing stage today. Don't know why TCG insist on backing Hesjedal.
I'm in for sure. Hefty, we could always skip the train and cycle to London...
Anyone have a rear mtb v brake they want to part with? A right brake lever is also needed. condition not important so long as they work.
Cheers.
Does anyone have a 130 bcd chainring, 48-50t, 3/32. In reasonable condition and preferably black?
Cheers
