F.W.EVANS TRACK FRAME - 1970s - WITH MATCHING FORKS
F.W.Evans built frames in London from 1921 onwards - this one from the 1970s was built at the cut and is a somewhat superb example or a large sized track frame. The original paintwork is in amazing condition and it has very few marks as well as some very beautifully crafted lugs. Altogether makes for a very rare track frame from this maker... £275 or nearest offer ... p.m. me or dibs applies... will accept local pickup from central Bristol or will consider posting.

Top Tube: 58cm

Yea I have had a look at these websites already... As i'm not an expert i've not reli been able to deduce much about my particular frame from this information and I haven't seen a pic of one the same or similar thats been dated... or with the same lugs. And information ive read about the decals has not been very substantial either......

This frame has been in my family for a long time and has recently been re-discovered. Im looking for as much information as possible about this piece as I think its quite a rare item. Thought to be an early 1970's track frame by F.W.Evans, but I haven't been able to find any solid information on how to date this frame, or any information or even pictures of old Evans track frames.
If anyone could help I would be very grateful, and if people could also estimate how much this frame would be worth I would also be grateful.
Thanks for your help.
