Ok, appeal for help - an app that actually allows import of gpx files for superimposing over google maps.
Trying GPS essentials but it's not very good, i only seem to be able to import one map!Osmand allows you to overlay gpx tracks over all sorts of maps including google and offline vector maps.

Bobbo, did see lots of suggestions for aerosol-ing the port to clear it up but none with anyone saying it actually worked for them. May give it a blast..
Cake, bugger..
I get this from time to time on my Desire S. I've used a cocktail stick or paper clip to scratch out the lint and it seems to do the trick.

Oh dear, I actually did die on the ride. But despite losing a cleat bolt and being sick in a hedge it was a good ride. Good pace out of Bham Finn and after purging about half way the finish into Leicester was good too.
Sorry we didn't catch up with a lot of you guys, hope your wheel is sorted soon Phil. And yes it's a good distance, would definitely be up for another.

The google map is a bit garbled on my screen but [ame="http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Birmingham-Leicester425880"]here's
%22%5Dhere%27s an estimation [/ame]of what I think it says. Perhaps the Birmingham locals can help us find our way out of the city?

I'm Migi's friend Joe. We're planing on riding out to Birmingham on Friday if anyone is in for that as well. Here's a rough plan of the route.
Mine arrived in the post yesterday, it'll be on the bike soon. I'll make a forum donation when I can afford it. Thanks Adroit.
