  trying to find a rear wheel for a bigger wheeled retro kona project. Rim must have braking surface and hub needs to be 135mm wide, qr and a freehub for 9/10 speed shimano cassette. ta

  nice, there are options then. Having read the thread properly I noticed the Soma Sparrow's too, they come in a narrow version - could be perfect if I flipped them too, just a look a little difficult to come by

  'idiot' bar, i like it. No I don't want idiot bars I just want a slightly narrower valencia type bar. I had On One mary's but they were far too wide for town. And once you start cutting these bars I lose room for my hands. Perhaps they don't exist....

  Anyway, has anyone come across a Cinelli Valenci type bar but narrower? less than 50cm ideally

  I am just in the process of doing up a bike and making it single speed. I bought a singlespeed freewheel (18t) from Condor - the cheap one for a tenner. Having put it on the chain just doesn't seem to fit on the cog. I have tried the original chain (it was the original off an old 80's 10 speed Falcon). I have also tried a SRAM one I had kicking around but that is the same. It's as if the spacing between the pins on the chain is too long - it can't have stretched that much? I have checked Sheldon Brown but he doesn't mention different chain types (pin to pin length rather than width). Are there different sizes? Thanks.

  Hello

  After a 27 1/4 rear wheel if anyone has one please. One with a screw type freewheel. Not looking to spend much so used (but not too abused) is fine, preferably I'll pick up in London.
