Nightmare! Nope - wrote the 'blurb' on my work pc (using word) and clearly - it didn't like being cut/paste!!

So, nope - not copied from another forum - but yes, it was a cut/paste job!

For sale is my lovely Dolan Arc. I became a father three months ago and am reconciled to the fact that I simply have no further use for this very specialist piece of equipment. If you have no idea what a Dolan Arc is, then you probably don’t need one. If you do, you’ll be aware that this frame is rather special (numerous world champion titles etc) and that not only are they not ‘ten a penny’ they also don’t come up for sale that often. This one is in pristine condition and without fault or issue.

Note – on the items I’ve stated Max 150miles, this is exactly what I mean. Not – ‘item looks like it might have only done 150 miles’ or ‘I’ve done 150miles – but can’t vouch for the person who owned before me’. Is it possible to do so little mileage? Yup. This is not a bike you take out on the road for fun – it just isn’t any fun to ride. Also, this isn’t a bike you’d select for anything other than a dead flat TT course. Ok – Iive in Suffolk and it’s fairly flat, but in practice, there is only one single TT course that my club run which was flat enough not to put me at a disadvantage. All in all – 150miles.

It’s currently decked out as a fixed gear time trial cycle, though it’s fair to say that the true home of this type of bike will be in a velodrome somewhere.

Arc frameset – full carbon - s/s dropouts (size M/L)
Alpina Aero forks – full carbon, rake 43mm.
FFWD rear disc – (track) – unused (brand new – never even had a tyre put on it) With FFWD bag
FFWD F9R – (road/QR) – immaculate. Max 150miles use. With FFWD bag.
Tyres – Vittoria tubs (max 150miles on each) One fitted / one not. Max 150miles use
FSA BB – platinum track 68x108 – adjustable chain line. Forged cro-mo spindle, ISIS drive. 2xdouble row sealed bearings. Max 150miles use
FSA Carbon Track chainset. 144bcd / 170mm cranks. Max 150miles use
49T FSA track chainring (unused – new)
52T Blackspire chainring 3/32 Width (ie road) – Max 150miles use
Easton EC70 carbon stem 120mm +/- 6’ – Max 150miles use
Easton EC90 attack pursuit bars (Large) – Max 150miles use
Easton Bar tape.
Cane Creek Carbon 200TT b/lever – Max 150miles use
Selle SLT T1 saddle – Max 150miles use
Alloy roller type front caliper – Max 150miles use
Goodrich brake line.
KMC chain, with magic link. (3/32 - though I also have track width availble)
Two Alpina seat posts. Both carbon. One with fore/aft adjustment.

Cost was excess £3k. Looking for £2k.

Current project. Not really got a chance to drop the hammer yet but it feels fairly nifty and I hope not to be dissapointed. Stem isn't decided yet, just this one on until I decide on exact position etc etc. Will post my other fixie also.

I remember my dad having a fixed Viking in the shed with an absolutely amazing leather saddle (looked like some kinda instrument of torture). Anyway - whenever I knew he wasn't about, my and my mates (we were perhaps 13, 14yrs) would wheel it out and dare each other to ride 'the beast'. Must have been dropped so many times. We were scared stiff of the thing and only doing it as a dare. Poor dad never knew why it got so beat up! And now I have two of my own!!!

I have a brand new (unused - still in box) Cane Creek 200tt carbon. Obviously, I did have two but used just the one. Let me know if you are interested.
