Hi folks,
I recently went to france and on my travels acuired an old Dilecta la blanc town bike. It is completly original, even tyres although they are flat rotten and falling off. It was sold by a shop in valence to a local many many years ago and he has now passed away. The shop is no longer but the bell has the shops details and the bike has a lovely chrome tag of the gentlemans name etc.. it needs a new paint job and some chrome but could just be cleaned and polished up to keep original. I have thought about stripping and even re chroming the wheels and restoring the whole bike but am not sure. It is fitted with a singlespeed free wheel and i think it is awesome....
Any ideas, thoughts and even guide line valuations on pre restored/ restored would be greatfully received.
Cheers Jonny

stick it fixed then put a 105 front caliper on with tektro areo levers for emergancies...... i use bontrager race xlites 25mm on my winter langster and they seem happy enough. I live in wilts so use country lanes and up down big hills on a 42 14 and they stick well and no punctures. cheap cheerful and plenty of life. BTW i love the Twatster sticker........nice
