    Just an update.

    More precise angles:
    72x72 frame

680 diameter wheel inc. tyre, 45mm rake.

    Makes my trail 63mm

I have however, bought some carbon forks with a lower rake. This will increase my trail by about 5mm, plus I get some sexy lightness on the front end ;-)

and???!!!.... dont leave us in suspense. has it worked??!!!

Whats wrong with Falcon :( ??? I always put them alongside Raleigh in terms of quality and as was said beggars can't be choosers :)

I agree, nothing wrong with Falcon at all. But some younger people seem to have a prestige thing maybe!! Me, I'd have a Trek or a scott or a klein. Do Raleigh still do bikes then? MAde by falcon probarly ha ha !!

    I'm 5 foot 3 and a half, could ride 18,19,20 inchers.

Don't think I could pull off a falcon mountain bike Tel, I'm more of a raleigh mountain bike kind of girl.

I know where you coming from with the Falcon MTB, but if it gets you around while you sort yourself a better bike then might be worth taking it. You could always spray over the Falcon transfers anyway !!

Tried my new gearing out today on the flat. 34/13 or 68" and it was a good combo. Pity I fucked the chain up when I put it back together as it needed shortening. Ended up putting my spare one on when I got home. was lucky it didint break ha ha!!

I use mine offroad on 44x20 its a bit high so will go to a 22 sprocket to give a standard 2to1 like all those using 32x16

32x16 seems to be standard MTB gearing setup.
