e5 Bakehouse (London Fields, Hackney) are looking for a new delivery rider for their daily morning wholesale deliveries, listing lovely cafes, shops, and restaurants around East London. This a part time job for 1-3 mornings per week, starting at 6:30 am with excellent coffee and finishing at 12:30 with a great free lunch.

I do the job at the moment and really enjoy it. We have four cargo bikes including an eBike and the original plywood beast. You ride about 40km per shift.

Pay is £10.20 per hour + holiday pro rata, perks include 50% discount on e5 produce and 20% off in the rest of the shop.

    Contact Laurent miller@e5bakehouse.com if interested!

    Fuji Track 2008
    XL Frame (Seat Tube 610 C-T, 575 C-C)

Front Wheel: Velocity Aero rim, BLB hub
Rear Week: Halo Track rim, Halo flip/flop track hub
Tyres: Continental SuperSport / Continental Gatorskin, 25mm

    Halo Track Cog 15T / Brev.M Track Chainring 46T

Shimano 105 Front Brake & Shimano Lever

Charge Saddle, MKS Sylvan Track Pedals, BLB curved Bars & Cork Grip Tape

There is a small ding in the top tube from four years ago which has not affected the ride since, but which you should be aware of. It has been sealed up with tape since and there is no rust or corrosion. Otherwise good condition with a few scratches. I'll clean everything up and check it over before it's sold.

It's a really quick and nimble ride, as I'm sure you know.

£200 ONO - collect/view in Hackney or meet halfway for rest of London

    Cheers,

After my introduction to night riding in Essex last week I have signed up for the Old 240 (400km) in August. Anyone done it before or riding it this year? The route looks amazing (ie. tough).

I think I will do Man of Kent. Any takers?

I would like to do Man of Kent. I signed up a while ago not realising it's not accessible by train on a Sunday morning. Seems the only alternative is to ride to the start which is another 60km from Hackney (I don't want to stay over - seems over the top!) So having a think about it ....

Great ride, thanks to all involved.

Here are some pics of the 'uber scenic' detour, which was, as promised, heavily flooded, but well worth it in the sunshine.
