  Just bought a set of carbon forks for a new fast/stealth build, never had any carbon parts before and was surprised to find the forks rattled when I picked them up. Looking inside I found some kind of plug which I could slide in/out, and below the plug was some threaded thing that was sliding up and down in the steerer. Please could someone explain what these bits are for?! See pics attatched..

  Bought a create frame only to turn into a polo bike.
  Trust me it is made from gas pipe
  The frame alone weighs in heavier than my complete road bike

  and imagine the quality/weight of the bike if it was made in england for the same price! ;o

  Riding London to Paris this summer with a bunch of mates. Going to be a DIY effort on track bikes without support or planned accommodation so need to travel as light as poss!

  My question is what's the smallest/lightest thing i can use to sleep in? Don't really fancy lugging even the smallest tent on my back with all my other shit - I'm thinking something more along the lines of a body bag with breathing holes?

  When I get my Mini Evo I might start using that locking technique for quick stops.

  after watching that video i might start NOT using that technique!
