Had my first gig since getting a smart watch that does my BPM, turns out getting really nervous about performing on stage is great cardio for your heart...
I normally rest around 56 and it peaked at 158! -
Absolutely love Kitson, his work in progress shows have always been my favourite things to see from him, he is so good at just working a room and playing with ideas presented to him.

Forgot I started this thread all those years ago.
Happy to say I finally plucked up the courage and started doing some stand up myself, did loads of open mic nights which went well but realised telling 'jokes' doesn't suit my style.
My stuff has weirdly developed into poetry/standup (sort of), never thought that would happen in a million years, but it works and people laugh at the right bits!Doing slots at a regular monthly night now which I absolutely love.
Tim Key and Rob Auton are definitely my heroes as far as that mix of comedy and poetry goes, both absolute masters at it.
First bike commute in about a year or so, tried the Quietway 7 route.
Not great as a designated "quiet" route, but a little bit nicer than my old route (Milkwood Drive shudders).
Nice to see London Bridge and either end are still massive dangerous clusterfucks for cycles, is there no TFL plan to sort out that route for cycling?
